Since July 15th, 2009, the YouSendIt
service has been blocked by China's Golden Shield Project. YouSendIt is not the
only service or website that is currently affected – sites such as Facebook and
Twitter have also been impacted.
At
this time, we have no indication from the Chinese authorities how long this
block on our service will last. We will provide updates to our customers
as soon as those become available.
In the meantime, we have identified two potential workarounds below. We realize
this may not work for all of our customers and will continue to work diligently
to identify better options and solutions.
Potential Workarounds that customers can use – (May want to contact IT
department or ISP to find out if these options are available to you):
-
The best option is a secure VPN or proxy server that is either in Hong Kong or somewhere outside of the affected regions of China.
Anonymous proxy servers may also be used as a workaround. Please see examples documented here:

Thanks for your patience in dealing with this matter.
We love yousendit.com, we send yousendit links to a number of countries (primarily Brazil and India) without issues. I am surprised that you are have issues in China, our client, www.Webinetry.com has manufacturing in China and they have not had any issues as the communication seems very open.
