We’re a web company.
Well, okay, really we’re a Software-as-a-Service company.
("SaaS". It’s a new-ish term, but you’ll start hearing it more, trust us!)
As a SaaS company we’re aware that certain people will abuse our services. And while we do everything we can to prevent YouSendIt from being used for illegal or inappropriate purposes, we can’t do it alone.
We promote the use of our delivery services to individuals and businesses who want to save time, frustrations, and resources…. We are clean, safe, legal, and secure.
So far our customers have been really fantastic in helping to maintain the integrity of YouSendIt by reporting any abuse they may come across.
In fact, we have an email address specifically designated for this cause: Abuse@yousendit.com.
If you see anything of concern please let us know. And just in case you needed a refresher on our Terms of Service click here.
So, uhh… If you ever find yourself wondering if something is okay to send… It’s probably not.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all transactions comply with the YouSendIt Terms of Service policy.
And yes, YouSendIt reserves the right to take preventative and corrective actions to protect itself and our users, and we will of course, cooperate with law enforcement.
Thanks for helping us out! And as always, we love your feedback- feel free to weigh in on any topics, concerns, or features you’d like to address.
...Because we’re big fans of you, too!

Love your service and have been recommending for over a year now. What about Mac users? I see some new features like the desktop app. I think added features for mac users (who almost always need to send larger graphic files) could find this really useful. As a group, mac users send large files as a matter of course since most mac users work with graphics. Also, I find I'm using yousendit for clients of mine that get their mail via AOL and can't seem to open files when I send them through regular email. It's the only alternative solution that works for me - so much thanks for a great service!
