Big Files Are Flying First Class at Yahoo! Mail

by

Today we announced a partnership with Yahoo! YouSendIt is now powering Yahoo! Mail’s Attach Large File application in the Yahoo! Mail inbox which allows users to easily and securely send up to 100MB per email with just one click. It’s easy and it’s free – just look for the paper airplane! That’s your assurance that your files will reach their ultimate destination – quick, safe and easy.

We are excited to welcome all the Yahoo! Mail users to YouSendIt and to make it easier for our existing users to send large files through their Yahoo! mail application.

Yahoo! Mail users can access the Attach Large Files app from the Applications Box in the lower left-hand corner of their Yahoo! Mail inbox and start sending large files in 3 easy steps:

  1. Click “Attach Large Files” — this brings you to the YouSendIt welcome page
  2. Next click “Select Files” — add as many files as you want up to 100MB
  3. Next click “Upload and Compose Email” – users are brought to a new email, showing the links to download the attachments

Moving forward, Yahoo! Mail users get the trusted reliability of the Internet’s most popular digital file delivery service. And, as the digital content we share online gets larger, richer, clearer, colorful, and animated – that’s huge.

    Hi,
Iam an excited Yahoo member who looks forward to joining You Send it. I send many large files so
I look forward to bigger and better resources.

  2. Randy Says:

Every time I try to use it I get a message servers are busy. Does this feature still work?

  3. David Says:

YouSentIt wants to charge me to send files over 50 MB.

  4. Vivian Distler Says:

When trying to enter e-mail addresses, the auto-filling is using e-mail addresses from somewhere else, not my current address book. This has made this great app unusable to me. I tried yahoo tech help, but they couldn’t help. I hope you can!
