I am submitting this post because I am so proud to announce the launch of our business website. This was a team effort by everyone in the company to create a place for customers to get educated about YouSendIt as a trusted, easy to use and scalable solution for the exchange of information globally and securely. Since I have been so close to this project I gave a lot of thought about what it means to me, our customers, and our business, which I thought I would share with you.
Now, I do want to clarify the purpose of this new site. While there may be some who use YouSendIt for personal use, the majority of our users are business users who use it to send legal files, medical transcriptions, huge graphic files, large PPT presentations and more. However, YouSendIt continues to build momentum beyond just an individual marketer at a large company. We’ve seen more small businesses, like Iris Distribution who represents 750 individual artists, rely on YouSendIt’s file delivery service to power their business. We’ve also seen larger clients like Nixon Peabody, a Global 100 law firm, adopt YouSendIt across their organization. And there are many more stories just like these.
So when asked to lead the creation of the YouSendIt business site I was thrilled. As a marketer I get very excited when the opportunity is given to me to create something new and fresh. Armed with my newfound budget and backing from the executive team I felt how serious YouSendIt is about helping companies succeed. From each executive interview to every side conversation by the elevators I felt the energy around something that would launch us into a greater purpose. As I gathered requirements around product and messaging for the new site it was clear the show of promise and commitment to success in this market.
Talk about a sense of empowerment. As I write this, I can feel the pride and excitement from everyone to see their hard work out there for customers, analysts, press and all other types of communities to review. It is the engineering team who created the awesome technology that gives our customers the immediate gratification of a successful delivery without pain every time they send a file. And it is the QA team that ensures we deliver a 100% fully tested and superior product. There are too many teams to mention, but I greatly appreciate all of them. If it weren’t for them, the new business site that I am so proud to launch wouldn’t be possible. Thanks to you all and to all of our dedicated users who are the really the true proponents and reason for our success.
